What if I set something hot on the surface?

After fully cured, this surface is very heat resistant. It can take up to 600 degree heat, but you still should be careful. Extreme heat can loosen the original laminate that is underneath the new surface. If you haven't burned the finish you have, you most likely will never burn your new surface.
